Hybrid clouds made by Microsoft and Hewlett Packard Enterprise partners
Company HPE, formed by separating from HP, made an official statement about the joint project with Microsoft on hybrid cloud market.
Manufacturer of IT-solutions in America is about to launch the development of new equipment, which will be integrated with the Azure platform, as well as software, connected to the partner’s services.
There are already the first product created as a result of cooperation, it is a Hyper-Converged 250 system. It is supplied with the Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system, platform Azure Pack and managing tool OneView. The new development will allow installing up to 16 nodes, equipped with Intel Xeon E5 processors in a single 2U chassis. It is envisaged the use of a combination of drives of different capacity and type (SSD, SAS), and up to 512 gigabytes of RAM.
In its turn, the HPE Company is engaged in manning their servers with the Azure cloud, which will enable the rapid deployment of cloud-environment. HPE also become a reseller of Enterprize Mobility Suite, Azure, Office 365 and plans to provide IT-support and assistance for the Azure system integration, for this purpose about 5 thousand specialists will be additionally certified.
Although rollback of HPE’s activity on the public cloud market, the supply of other cloud solutions is not rolling back, this allows the company to rely on revenue of $ 3 billion in this market at the end of this year.
